These MMA guys talk crap about me for the first 7 minutes, then again at 26:00.
I call in at 30:55, throwing them entirely off guard.
At 48:22 Derek comes back on the line, and they start talking about me again.
Finally, they wrap up the show at 1:20:00 by talking about me again.
Highlights:
- In typical guy fashion, they focused mainly on sex, wanting to know if I’d ever have a threesome with Roger Huerta and War Machine
- They tried to set me up with Derek, some guy from Colorado who said he would require copious amounts of alcohol in his system to be able to endure a “date” with me
- These guys cursed like sailors, and once I was on the line they brought out their best behavior, muting themselves when they had the urge to laugh/cry (it reminded me of girls politely holding in their farts).
They actually sounded really nervous. Is this the first time they’ve ever had a female on their internet radio show? Or am I just that intimidating?

Don’t let those guys bother you, they are nobodies even in the world of MMA blogging. No one takes Derek Suboticki seriously, he’s a community college journalism student who got into the sport after seeing it on reality television a few years ago. There is literally nothing he knows that you couldn’t learn in a few months of watching DVDs.
Don’t let it get you down. Plenty of us are following your story and supporting you now that its been picked up by MMA.tv. If the guys on the UG give you a hard time, don’t be discouraged. They do that to everyone. But if you want a place to post where no one will judge you, come to Fightsport.net forums. The forums can get a little vulgar since they are not moderated, but you will be immediately accepted as one of the gang.
